Founding documents
A nation founded at approximately 10:07 AM.
In the year 2026, a world leader stepped up to a podium, took a deep breath, and confidently referred to Japan as “the Islamic Republic of Japan.” Somewhere, a State Department intern quietly updated their résumé. Somewhere else, we opened Photoshop.
IRJ Supply Co. is the official merchandising arm of a country that exists exclusively in one press conference and, increasingly, on the hoodies of people with a sense of humor. Population: growing. GDP: whatever this checkout page says. National anthem: still in committee.
The rules of the republic:
- We love Japan. Genuinely, warmly, karaage-and-Kurosawa love.
- We love the Islamic world. Genuinely, warmly, karak-and-calligraphy love.
- We do not love bad geopolitics — but we do love a good typo.
- All jokes are aimed exclusively upward, at the podium.
No stereotypes. No punching down. No caricatures. Just a very calm country that only exists on 100% ringspun cotton, and the small civic pride of wearing it.
Long live the Islamic Republic of Japan. (Approximately six seconds and counting.)

Our promise
A typo with respect.
IRJ Supply Co. is a satirical tribute to one very confident geopolitical mistake. We celebrate Japanese culture and Islamic culture with genuine warmth, care, and a shared love of hospitality, craft, and community. We laugh gently at the podium that accidentally mashed them together — never at the people or traditions themselves. No stereotypes, no punching down, no offense intended. Just premium cotton, excellent tea, and one very confused press conference.
